What makes you uncomfortable?

Who is Yes Theory and what is Seek Discomfort?
Yes Theory is a Youtube channel with 3 million subscribers. They are a group of friends who strive to put themselves and strangers off the street in situations that push them out of their comfort zones.

Marketing Issue:
Seek Discomfort is Yes Theroy's merchandise brand. Youtubers with high subscriber counts typically have merch to make more money and for their subscribers to purchase. This also allows for marketing when the subscribers post about their merch they have bought and wear it so people can talk about it or look up the name. Yes theory either puts Seek Discomfort or Yes Theory on all the shirts, hats, board shorts, everything they sell.

Value Proposition:
We at SEEK DISCOMFORT believe clothing is not just merchandise, but an expression of self, identity, and ideology. Those that wear SEEK DISCOMFORT are now a part of an inclusive and encouraging community that supports each one of our individual and collective evolutions.

My Opinion:
I really like what they are doing and the way they are presenting it. Their different lines get hype built around them because of the count down clock and they are constantly wearing their product and promoting it on their social medias and in person.

If I was the Marketing Manager:
I would continue to push their products on their personal media pages and the brand's page as well as in person. Something else I would do though is partner with other brand who are doing similar things and have similar visions. Like the artist they commissioned to do a couple pieces for them. But what I was thinking would be to work with another company that supports sustainability and/ or creativity and self expression.

Questions for You:
1. Is sustainable fashion something that will take off and how do you other brands implementing it?
2. What are your thoughts on this being a merch company but branching out from typical youtube merch?
